2nd symposium is over and the young group of the coming sculpture generation returned back home. They didn't want to leave because they had a great time below Landek hill in Ostrava. They agreed that similar events are very useful and enable to escape from everyday work and haste. They provide well-being and peace for the soul and also an inspiration for new work.
Moreover, this year's symposium included an exhibition of selected works brought in by participaing sculptors. They were installed in the Gallery KRUH at Zahradni street in Osrava, which belongs to the Union of Fine Artists. Furthermore, interesting pictures taken during the symposium by well-known photographers as well as amateurs were displayed in the area of the former shaft frame, in the front of the entrance into the sample gallery, so that many visitors of the Mining Museum in Ostrava - Petrkovice had a chance to see them. This exhibition will also displayed in other parts of Osrava as well as in Lodz, Poland.
